As you can see from my last entry–wedding dresses, wedding dresses, oh my!
I am in between sizes. My plan is to work my tushie off to look stellar for my wonderful day! I have lost a total of 68 pounds with the intention of losing these last 11 before the wedding. Looking at pictures, I don’t feel like I have 11 pounds to lose, I just see an opportunity to look even better for Shannon (and myself of course) on our wedding day!
So how to go about this without being too drastic? Well, I finally purchased the fabulous Wii and OMG is it way too much fun! Working out is a cinch and you get to play games!
No joke about it ladies and gents, playing video games can actually aid in weight loss. After the dress session, I decided I needed to kick it into gear and tone up. Playing just your basic sports game will make you sweat as if you ran the mile in gym class. Not to mention the Wii Fit which comes with resistance bands and the games, oh I’m sorry, “exercises.” It is so fun that you won’t even glance at the clock. No way would I have thought you can work out, have fun, be healthy and do this all at home!
Try the training program and fitness testing on your basic Wii sports to get a nice warm up going. Work through and finish off with a little Jillian from the Biggest Loser. This can all take as long as YOU want it to take. Keep it fun and the pounds will fall off before you know it. My arms are sore in all the right places and my abs actually ache when I laugh! Of course, all of this with a healthy diet is recommended. I still eat what I want, just my portions and choices are smarter. Happy Wii!
