If you are going to buy a diamond wedding band, keep in mind that platinum really is the premium metal for wedding bands and engagement rings. Platinum is strong and durable, so a diamond set in platinum is secure. It really is a great way to protect your diamond investment. Platinum is the metal that will last a lifetime. If the price of platinum is an issue, then research palladium. Palladium is a better choice over white gold (which is not naturally white and will turn yellow over time), and is much more affordable.
