I came across photos of this amazing winery in Napa Valley, CA, and had to share. The modern design elements thrown in with the dark wood and rustic appeal of wine barrels is pure genius. Reception in a cave without the bat guano --count me in!

Merus winery has a large cave reception space, tasting room and gorgeous surroundings:

 

Incredible design (and photos) by Uxus, an Amsterdam-based company with a flair for merging new with well-lived.
