Unity Candle for the Ceremony :: Planning Tip

I was at a client's house yesterday, and she proceeded to give me all of the supplies for her wedding ceremony. She handed me her unity candle kit which consisted of two candle tapers, two taper holders and one large pillar candle with holder. She said, "I just picked this up at Michaels." I immediately grabbed them and tested to see if the candles fit in their holders. Neither did, as they were both too small--hence the tapers leaned drastically to the side and the large candle's bottom was not level so it wobbled. Lesson? To test out your unity candle set. Thank goodness I thought to do that because it wouldn't have been too cute seeing the "leaning towers of candles" during their ceremony!

With all that Life has to offer,

Cicely

Oh my Cicely! It's SO good that you checked that...in fact...as a former wedding/event professional myself...I suggested that brides/grooms test out anything and EVERYTHING that can be tested. SO smart, and saves time and money...and possible frustration or embarrassment. Kudos Cic!
xo!
